How Are Estate Creditors Handled?

Video Transcription:

The personal representative in the state of Florida is charged with the duty of gathering all of the information on reasonably ascertainable creditors in an estate. Once the list is made of all reasonably ascertainable creditors, the personal representative sends them notice of administration and a notice to each of the creditors for them to file a timely filed claim in the probate estate. Once the timely filed claims are all made, then the personal representative makes payment on each of the valid claims from the assets of the estate. Have more questions?
